My mom, famously(infamously?) was the worst cook, grocery shopper, food person. My sister one day asked if she could grab “some fruit for granddaughter’s lunch” while at the grocery store.

One of the best things I do for myself is pack food for work.
I have a terrible habit of making a protein smoothie in the morning and raw dogging the rest of the day on caffeine and spite (and nicotine!)
Turkey bacon, med boiled eggs, Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato.
Tomorrow me will be so happy😊

One of the best things I do for myself is pack food for work.

Okay - while it’s a bit thinner than I’d like - the bottom is beautiful, a little crisp, and buttery! As a gf crust, I’ll give this a solid 9/10!

It’s my little (he’s not little at all) brother’s birthday today!
When he was younger he looked just like my son - but I’ve found as we’ve aged, that he and I look most alike of all my family.
So grateful to be able to know and love my birth fam ❤️
