From Bellingcat, which describes itself as "an independent investigative collective of researchers, investigators & citizen journalists brought together by a passion for open source research. ... where advanced technology, forensic research, journalism, transparency and accountability come together"
Footage taken moments before a struggle shows that the man was filming, holding a phone in his right hand, backing up. His left hand is up, visible, palm facing out, as he backs away from the area. An agent uses his right hand, on the torso of the victim, pushing him back, while the man complies.

Does 1 of these Congress members represent you? Susie Lee (D-NV), Brad Schneider (D-IL), John Mannion (D-NY), Henry Cuellar (D-TX). They are undecided about the ICE/CBP funding bill (Cuellar supports it)

Please let them know ASAP that you want them to oppose funding... www.axios.com/2026/01/21/h...

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social , as a lifelong Democrat, I fully support your reported plan to vote against ICE/CBP funding while the agencies employ atrocities and violate the Constitution. I urge you to dedicate your full powers to marshaling a vote to deny this funding.

This is real. I just checked the city government website
ICE has kidnapped so many people from their cars that the city had to put out this statement. Let that sink in.
Vehicles that are abandoned due to an ICE detention and towed to the City's impound lot will be released to their owners or a representative at no cost.

When USAID cuts came, people died because life saving food, water, and medicine, dried up. That left groups who didnt rely on USAID to fill the void. One org, Alaska Health Project South Sudan, showed me how they are fighting like hell to do exactly that.

But this isnt a sad story.
This is about courage, compassion and survival. And the herculean efforts of a group of people who refuse to lay down and die.

This is an essential method to break autocracy: helping military members see when their orders are illegal, and supporting them when they make it impossible for the illegal orders to be carried out.

I urge you to support this campaign to reach more military members!

Trump’s recent obsession with Venezuela is increasingly looking like a shake down for oil & rare earth minerals.

It has little to do with drug boats.

The tech bros have him in a tizzy over rare earth minerals needed for next gen tech.

It’s why he wanted Greenland.

With millions at risk of losing SNAP in the coming days, a reminder: hunger doesn't happen in isolation. When food assistance disappears, families use rent money to eat. Then come evictions and homelessness.

Housing, food, healthcare—it's all connected. Cut one thread and the whole thing unravels.
