When I really think about it, my ideal job includes passing on knowledge, the freedom to be weird, and hyperfixating on a niche subject, so being a college professor is really the ideal career goal for me.

Resigning my job largely in part because a RTO policy change at work makes life impossible for me while solo parenting feels so defeating and by design in this current political climate.

Perhaps a hot take but as a society we have got to get better about how we support people who are mothering. “It was your choice to have kids.” Bad take. If we all stop having kids, there’s no future, no purpose in creating lasting, enduring change.
