Our lovely tree-decorated by two grandsons (not with out disagreements and squabbles) Eldest said it an old fashioned type cos it has lots of different colours not a “dull” one like people have now! Someone said its like an elf threw up on it!(rude!) every bauble has a memory! #itschristmas

The scene in #Shardlake with Cromwell (Sean Bean), Barak (Anthony Boyle) & Shardlake (Arthur Hughes)makes me think a similar scene couldve happened with Cromwell, Robert Southwell & Thomas Holcroft in March 1537 when Furness Abbey was targeted #thehousemustfall #surrender #dissolution
