I started off believing there were genuine conflicts between women's and trans rights but the more I have thought about and worked on the issue the more I have turned away from that belief. I now believe trans rights support at least as much as - indeed more than - they conflict with women's rights

My Dad, who was a modern languages teacher, told me it had been possible for a mutually intelligible conversation to take place between a rural German dialect speaker and someone who only spoke Doric, with no language in common.
