Bon, chuis là, là. Bilingual disaster. Chronically ill avec zéro chill. Ballerine du dimanche. Appalling poet and well-rounded failure.
Also I am so sorry I could have sworn I followed you here already but I just checked mastodon and I think I thought I was already following you because I'm following you over there ^^' too many accounts!

Probably because I am here à contrecœur and frequently forget to check my messages here lol

You're not wrong! Also: when the moderators try to get the politicians to speak French and the politicians very obviously roll their eyes on camera... well, credibility demolished. Game Over, you know?

I dunno when you have local politicians like Ruba Ghazal making funny/poignant posts every other day on instagram about the importance of accepting asylum seekers and integrating immigrants, feels like a huge mistake to completely ignore immigration and Québec in a leadership debate.

I heard more about the BC and Alberta provincial NDP parties than anything particularly pertaining to Quebec tonight.

Bon. Message reçu. Moving on.

T'as complètement raison. Mais c'est clair que ce n'est pas vraiment une priorité.

Did I hallucinate or did the question of public transport literally not come up even once? We just had a massive transit worker strike situation in MTL. HOW WAS THERE NO QUESTION ABOUT THIS SHIT.
November 28, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Kind of wish the moderator could have quizzed these candidates on extremely basic questions about the reality of working in Québec, instead of what we got. Baby stuff, like: "Who is the premier of Québec? Is he pro-or-anti-worker? Don't you think the way the CAQ is beating up on unions is shit?"

The amount of misinformation (willful?) about this stuff is mind boggling.

Quand je pense à ce que ce party était capable de mobiliser en 2010-2011... c'est effectivement effrayant. On va finir par devenir un pays de deux équipes, comme dans le sud.

Ils en sont pas là, clairement.

Honestly... no it's not. It's pretty fucking insulting. I'd rather listen to interpreters translate the English expertly than have the tone and content of the debate devolve into a conversation that even primary schoolers would find insipid.

Listening to a grown man speak French so poorly that even a seasoned translator can't untangle or parse the sentence... This almost-insult not inclusion.

Yay!
