Hey guys, I’ve been making some anti-dirtbag t-shirts and selling them through my Threadless shop: geraldcollings.threadless.com
Check em out. I also have some t-shirts with my non-political art on them for sale. Let me know what you think.
Just finished this new drawing tonight.
It untitled at the moment, but it was created using a brush pen, ink, a grey marker and a blue paint pen on watercolor paper @ 12”x9”.

I was looking through my old work and decided to post a few. 1 and 2 are from grad school in 1998-2000, 3 is from my undergraduate years at the University of Tampa and 4 was also created during my grad program at MICA in Baltimore, MD.

I’m not good at soldering, but this is where I am on my screen mod for the Game Gear. It’s “done” but I think I still need to recap a bunch of the board because the screen keeps cycling through the aspect ratios. Everything should work fine.

This is the last political drawing I’ve made recently. And while it doesn’t quite cover all of the ground I wanted it to, it does reference some of the most glaring abuses of power and the most dangerous. So, I do feel it is worth sharing in its final form.

There is no good reason why ICE, & National Guard, personnel shouldn't be held to the same standards as are police. Police are cut a lot of slack, but they do have to follow basic due process & equal protection requirements guaranteed by our Constitution. No kings.

Two days ago, he took a shit on the American people. Today, he began demolishing the People’s House. That’s all he does. He shits on people, and he destroys things. Bcuz he’s a horrible person. I blame him a lot for the death & destruction he’s caused. I blame his enablers & his appeasers even more.

The No kings protest in NYC today was a success and I met some really nice people, as well. Below, I’ve posted a pic of my most recent political drawing with a few pics from the march.

From Ninja Gaiden to Dead or Alive & Devil's Third, you were a game director operating on a whole other level. Your games carried a strong aura, sharpened like fine blades. Your design philosophies were always bold yet inspiring.

Thank you for everything, Tomonobu Itagaki.

Began this on Sunday in the park and finished it tonight. Titled it after my cat tried eating one of my game cartridges.

I remember, when Gaiares came out, the gaming media was in awe of the many visual effects offered throughout the levels on this splendid Genesis shooter. It’s gorgeous from beginning to end and can be punishingly difficult.

I’ve also been busy drawing, using a brush tip pen and a few other pens and inks. If anyone is interested in purchasing any of these, please let me know.

Star Wars Outlaws is fantastic on the Switch 2 and runs surprisingly well on the platform, even in handheld mode. It’s quite an amazing showcase for what the hardware is capable of. I also can’t help myself and take endless amounts of pictures in game. Such a gorgeous game!

I’ve been playing a few new games recently. Just bought Earthion last night and played it for a few hours. Love it. Feels great to play. Also tried the Mina the Hollower demo (thoroughly enjoyed) and been playing Starwars Outlaws. Each one extremely satisfying. Still also playing DK Bananza.

@retroblast.bsky.social recently posted about the Simpsons arcade and got me thinking of other popular beat em ups from the 90s. Konami took their time, but they eventually put a TMNT arcade style game on the Sega Genesis- that was effectively a remix of the two arcade games.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World

Video: AL82 Retrogaming Longplays

Super hard game, especially in the castle.
The Jan Ken Pon boss fight is also not good IMO.
But the game in general is extremelly fun.
If only the bosses didn't had Jan Ken Pon.

An unused object found in Yoshi's Island is the "Overly Congratulative Green Coin". It is identical in functionality to a red coin, but plays the Perfect Clear fanfare when placed in specific areas. This causes the game to appear to unnecessarily celebrate every single coin.

A government-sanctioned "truth arbiter" will soon arrive at CBS. Their role will be to ensure that journalists do not criticize this Administration or express views that conflict with its agenda.

This is a betrayal—not just of journalistic independence, but of the public trust. 🧵
