Into the valley of death rode the 600, the poem says "theirs was not to reason why; theirs was but to do or die."
Neither Donald Trump nor Pete Hegseth understands that Nuremberg settled the question: there is no duty to obey an illegal order.

Disgusted to hear of the targeted shooting of National Guard members in DC today. All Americans should unite in condemning and rejecting this violence. Sending prayers to these victims and their families, and thankful to the responders who acted so quickly.

We ran cross country in Van Cortland in high school. 2.5 miles. 16 minutes was my best time. Top guys were 14 plus. I remember the hills, the leaves, the ruts, the grass, exhaustion. My teammates Robert Clark and Robert Bartolini were among the best in the City.

About 40% of SNAP recipients are children. Around half of ALL children in the country are covered by Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program.

And the so-called “party of family values” gutted both programs by billions of dollars.

Doesn’t sound very pro-family to me.

Is President Bonespurs really going to indict a combat pilot and astronaut, serving in the Senate and loyally standing by his Congresswoman wife who was shot in the head by an attempted assassin?

At 17, She Gave Up Her Son. Sixty Years Later, She Found Him on Death Row.
This sad story is everything that is wrong with the death penalty - a charade of justice; a tool for the dreadfully ambitious like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
