i am learning something interesting as i do my reading for school. i know that on SocMed we dunk on BookTok a lot, like when people pitch books based on "Enemies to Lovers" or "Cozy vibes." cuz it's kind of like TVTropes. but that is literally how librarians do Readers Advisory.

So good news from overnight -- I only need to sell two more books this month to avoid it being the worst selling month since I binned my dead name. Also, Opus is down to $9 from outselling the deadname book all-time. That's one physical copy from my Ko-Fi plus an ebook
For as much good news writing wise this month has brought me, it's also on track to be my worst selling month since I changed from the dead name to my pen name and is likely going to be the biggest net loss month I've ever had in any month that didn't involve paying an editor.

I love it when an artist blorbofies a character so much it's practically separated from the source material, and then they decide to take the next step and file off the serial numbers and make it their own weird thing.

Waiting warmly on some rice in the rice cooker. I heard of tunamayo onigiri. i don't think I can make it sticky enough? But it'll be nice to wrap this up with seaweed and dabs of mayo.
I lack dashi stock, so I might end up making it American style with veggie stock. lol
