I don’t think most Jews understand what a dangerous moment this is for our people. Israel and its defenders are undoing decades and decades of goodwill and progress on antisemitism. The lack of self-awareness is staggering and I think most can’t even hear this argument from a place of self-interest.

Everything about "no tax on tips" is so aggravatingly dumb and dishonest. Payroll tax is still owed, so it's not even true.
And most restaurant workers don't make enough to owe federal taxes, so they don't even benefit from this -- but are actively harmed by cuts to Medicaid and SNAP.

Hi, I think a lot of us received e-mails from SSA saying that social security will no longer be taxed - and that somehow there is "enhanced deductions" (how much enhancement can you make to 0?) for those over 65. What part, if any, of this is true? Thank you!
