I gave the amazing @lucidpeech.bsky.social a loose description of Calpurnia, the lead sister in Hags of Mud Wallow, and look what they came up with! She's so sweet. The only thing missing is Fiera, who is off camera going through her long list of absolutely appalling swears.

So this is a raven but corvids are all cousins and omg this lamp

Raya, since being taken by the Absolute, is terrified of the dark. The night Rolan learned this he made her a temporary light. Eventually he made her an enchanted bracelet so she can call the light whenever she's scared.
