I think everyone who’s tried to improve at something, competitive or otherwise, knows how Wakamura feels. Surely, that special something that can propel us to the top exists… right? But while you’re looking, everyone else is improving anyways… and you haven’t moved an inch.

Such a critical lesson… it’s why I’ve started trying to give myself deadlines for my writing. Just gotta get better at enforcing them…
