Yeah, figured as much. We have a wonderful homeless charity here (Shrewsbury Ark) but they may have to close due to lack of funding and rising costs :(

What the actual fuck. That photo in the article of all the staff members grinning like loons at the camera… urgh, how did none of those people realise what an awful idea it is?!

I bought one of these for my cat and she completely ignored it for about 3 weeks, and then “discovered” it, and now she uses it all the time. Phew!

The couch is actually black! She's sleeping on my electric heated throw :) I can neither confirm nor deny that the colour of the blanket was chosen to match the cat... 😂

The event itself might be real, and the video might be an official release, but that doesn't mean it's not AI generated -- they've been known to release AI clips before.

Something about the mouth and facial movements is setting off my AI alarm bells.

I don't think it's GenAI rubbish, I think someone's just accidentally put two of the same photo of him on different layers in Photoshop at slightly different positions, and then just forgotten to turn one of them off.

Still bloody stupid, of course, for what should be the highest office in the US.

Don't they call coriander cilantro or something like that as well?

Crazy folks.

I don't disagree with your last point there. But in general, that's an easily solvable problem, and I expect people that make a living out of scalping tickets to things would be able to buy a £380 ticket and sell it for profit in any case.
December 18, 2025 at 10:51 AM
Yeah, but I've posted plenty of cats before and never had anything get more than a handful of likes. I'd love to know what makes *this* one different.

How on Earth they've successfully managed to market it as a search engine, I have no idea.
December 18, 2025 at 10:48 AM
When I went to see Sigourney Weaver in The Tempest in January, the most expensive ticket I could see that was still available was about £380 (not the one I picked)

Apparently they did a lottery for students and other low-income folks where you could get a ticket for £25.

Ridiculous disparity.

And yet the temperature drops again for Christmas, so there's still *potential* for snow.

Sounds like it should be a brand of motorhome.

They don't bloody use cutlery properly anyway, so their opinions are invalid.

Not only that, think how much distance between you and them the RAF can cover... ;)

I’m going to turn you all into little frogs!

Why would they hire mosquitoes to make mosquito repellent?

Aled Jones would have had a very different experience with that first Snowman.

Oh dear, what happened yesterday?!

War Of The Worlds is still My Jam, inexplicably lucky son excluded.

You have to try penetration in two different orientations before finally succeeding in your original attempt?
December 18, 2025 at 7:42 AM
Fixed in place? That must look so bloody odd.
