A little watercolour and ink sketch from long ago of people enjoying Hunstanton beach and its rock pools. You can glimpse the brightly-coloured helterskelter in the distance.

Hanging out
In treehouses
Or forgotten ways
Discussing the Vagaries
Of spiritual matters

But only Buddha taught the whole of the dharma

So it was decided
Mystery was fine
And Orpheus be dammed

Peanut butter sandwiches
And stingray bikes
Peddled fast
In an attempt
To escape

This mortal world

This oil on canvas showing the garden at the front of the studio was finished in 2024 and hung in the autumn exhibition of the Cambridge Drawing Society where it found a buyer. I called it "The Stepladder" (size 30" X 34").
