Deeply appreciate Canada’s media union speaking out against this multimillion dollar lawsuit

An attack on one is an attack on all

If they can do this to me, they can do this to you
This is an important case in defending freedom of the press.
Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

It’s really important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.

Tesla’s profit fell 37% in the third quarter. It's been in the process of laying off 14,000 workers. It had more cars impacted by recalls than any other brand in 2024.

Yet Elon Musk just got a pay package worth $1 trillion.

American capitalism is off the rails.

Jason Stanley isn’t afraid to use the F-word when talking about President Donald Trump.

The author of How Fascism Works and Erasing History: How Fascists Rewrite the Past to Control the Future is clear: He believes the US is currently under an authoritarian regime led by a fascist leader.
I study fascism. I’ve already fled America.
On this week’s “More To The Story,” former Yale philosophy professor Jason Stanley explains his recent move to Canada and calls the Trump administration’s takeover of the US government a “coup.”

During the pandemic, we understood that we wear face masks not to protect ourselves but to protect everyone else we come into contact with

By a similar logic, why create content that keeps people on a toxic platform and exposes your followers to abusive and extremist content?

Who says: “I’m going to post on 8Chan because I want to ‘meet people where they are’”?

Who says: “Hey, I created an account on the Daily Stormer message board because I don’t want to ‘cede that space to the other side’”?

No one says this because it’s stupid – so why does anyone say this about X?

This is why oil and gas hates renewables. You can't be making billions of dollars if you're giving away energy for free.
Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative

A practical demonstration will show why this may not be a good idea.
