I just wanted to make a snarky joke about Kip Winger and then I found that KW has completely lapped me in terms of his professional success as a composer of contemporary classical music

I think a better Ann Arbor-area answer is pad thai from No Thai, but the first thing that came to mind is a Coney Island (a term for a type of diner in SE Michigan) loose meat sandwich
