Capita profiteered at least £18m doing PIP assessments for the DWP. That’s what you call a welfare giveaway, not your kids queuing with their mam at a food bank every week while they wait the 6 weeks it takes for meagre welfare payments to land.

Card Factory’s new Mother’s Day card design for northerners looks shite.

‘Ah, yes. Nigel’s expenses bill. I see he’s put down ‘travel - Clacton’ again this month but again, with no receipts. He’s a cheeky little bastard, I’ll give him that’.

Many Labour MPs have generally supported SUTR because they hold the same anti-racist values. Sad day when SUTR divert their attention and resources from Reform, the far-right and street-based racism to the Labour Party.

In a boozer in Manchester and who does this as graffiti in a pub bogs in 2025? That’s how fucking good they are.

Looking at the wrong reason here. It’s people who come in and buy our basic public services, our politicians’ election campaigns and everything in between who are tearing Britain apart.

It really isn’t though.

Labour MP for a constituency 322 miles away from Dover.

Labour MP content with some of the most vulnerable people in the world still in the hands of gangsters & traffickers.

Labour MP content with some mothers and children facing even more nights living in makeshift camps, in winter.

Basically admitting they need to introduce new taxes or have continually failing public services. And then not even go near the very idea of wealth taxes.

Not only cos I was twatted by a falling rocket in my own back garden last night but fireworks on general sale to the public needs banning asap. Licences granted to a small number of pyrotechnics experts only, with stringent vetting, training and certification protocols.

Tells us a lot that this trans woman and nurse was using female changing facilities for four years before some of her colleagues had such a problem with it that they’ve taken it to tribunal.

“With too many voters gone over to Reform, I know, let’s try and scrape back the many more voters who’ve already gone over to Greens because grubby little posts like this are bound to work, aren’t they?”

Each of the UK’s billionaires makes on average 5 times the median British salary per day. But no. Let’s tax ordinary workers because it’s easier to tell them to fuck off than is to tell 156 billionaires to fuck off.

Being bold and radical - with demonstrable political will and a viable story - would have gone some way towards allaying disappointment and thus keeping in check their plummeting popularity. Labour with their current leader are seriously incapable of carrying that off.

It’s as if this bloke didn’t single-handedly add 400 quid a month to everyone’s mortgage.

The moment when the primary school headteacher announces to the PTA the gobbiest, pushiest most pain in the arse parent that their little darling won’t be getting a key role in the Nativity play this year.

Yesterday’s hilly trail run. 10 miles easy/steady over and around Roseberry, Cook’s Monument & Kildale. Although worryingly, another autumn of being bone dry under foot for the time of year. #runchat

Govt ministers saying the WMP’s decision is based solely on the nationality and religious beliefs of visiting supporters. That is not the case here and amounts to gaslighting. By interfering, Govt are inadvertently upping the anti here and riling all the wrong idiots in the process.

I never knew how exactly I’d benefit from possessing a veteran’s ID card. I want to be in a society where everybody benefits well and equally from public services regardless of what they used to do for a living.

I don’t buy or read Private Eye as much as I should. This will be well worth reading, especially if you’re from round these parts. #Teesside

I wish it didn’t grate me as much cos life’s too short but what fucked-up country we are when the people who spent 14 years ripping the fabric of society to shreds are afforded so much credibility after the event, while millions of us still endure the consequences.

If only - like the rest of us - he had access to 24/7 coverage of blatant crimes against humanity and war crimes then perhaps he might not see the need for a debate.
