Outstanding episode, thanks! It’s one i love too. A comfort film which, despite the early bleakness of the story, evolves into a brilliantly breezy and, at times, amusing film. Cushing, Lee and the rest of the cast are on fine form and, i believe, the ‘Cushing finger’ makes an early appearance!

A fine choice to honour a legend.

That’s fantastic to hear. I can imagine the hardcover is quite the collector’s item now. It’s one i’m looking forward to a great deal. I’ve read the Ballard before (along with most of his others), but it was too lovely an edition to resist.
