“It is proper, constitutional, and legal for a federal grand jury to indict a sitting president for serious criminal acts that are... contrary to, the president’s official duties. In this country, no one... is above the law.”

A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.

We just shared the link from NBC about three warehouses being bought to house immigrants, but it now looks like we seriously underreported how many are being purchased. Based on information many of you have shared, the number appears to be over 26.

ICE is currently holding around 80,000 detainees. Nazi Germany didn't reach this number in its formal camp system until 1942, nine years after seizing power and three years into the war.

You know what they’re going to store in those warehouses?

People
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

This week I watched a screening of the new documentary Mr Nobody Against Putin, about how the Russian state has transformed schools into indoctrination centres over the past four years.

The most disturbing part for me was knowing that the 🇺🇸regime is starting to make the same efforts.

Just this week, we’ve seen multiple GOP Members of Congress speak out against ICE warehouses planned in their state or district.

The tide is turning against the regime’s lawlessness, but we know ICE is still purchasing commercial warehouses. Is Trump trying to build a mass detention camp near you?
🚨 New: We built a visual tracker of the warehouses ICE is targeting across the US.

Working off an idea from @actualkatherine.bsky.social, we’ve mapped active searches, canceled deals, and linked state property records.

WATCH: @RepJamesComer 🤡 hilariously
says “this is a serious investigation” as he refuses to let the Clintons testify in public about Epstein — and won’t even bring in others like Trump, who is mentioned more times in the files than Harry Potter in all 7 books 😕🤷🏼

Bad idea. ICE is pre-funded by the BBB. Also, CBP is just as bad if not worse and also pre-funded by the BBB. Severing ICE gives away any leverage we have to shut down the rest of DHS. We should be demanding to defund ICE/CBP of its BBB money and shut down ALL of DHS if they don’t agree.

One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office.

Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.
