Raise your hand if you met your partner “blacksmithing”. You know, when the ladies stopped by while you were shoeing horses with your boys. As one does. Such a popular urban pastime. Personally, I think a dude spending hours fashioning their own broadsword would be a pretty big red flag.

Nice glove! I’ve just started knitting this year for same “centering” reason. It’s so nice to have a hobby that doesn’t involve a screen.

Someone on YouTube mentioned “you should use steppers for smoother motion”. While that be great, it would introduce more costly motors in a class where I buy product for all students plus an additional driver, so more complexity, too. Next more goal is solenoids for very different projects.

We all know the truth! Fudgy the Whale, Dumpy the Pumpkin, Santa, Cookie Chick, Cookie Puss, Cookie O’Puss - they’re all THE SAME! The margins from that sweet one-pan ice cream cake franchise must have been iPhone-esque.

We need to call out the double standard when we see it. You’re not a “radical leftist” when you simply recognize the double standard and push back against any of this misogynistic nonsense. Speak to a group of women teaching at unis sharing their teaching evals and it’s grim. Woke? Badge of honor!
