More PixelBlaze LED volumetric cube progress. Threading the pebble lights in the tubes isn’t easy. Decided on passing thread through and pulling them. Attaching to thin plastic rods didn’t seem to work well.

Work in progress. Have 25 strands of 10 for my first attempt at a PixelBlaze volumetric cube. Next to glue the lights to straightening rods, cut the clear tubes, and assemble. Will need to build out base box once all is working. Hope to have it up for Friday’s “Festival of Light”

Must read for my fellow biz/tech profs & key points on asset valuation, lifespan, and ROI that will make the next version of my biz-tech textbook. If you’re still spending outsized time discussing “the waterfall method” and not raising issues like this, you’re missing an op for course relevancy.

My children and students have made it clear that the term “Bro” has escaped gender confines. UK and Aussie friends, how about “bloke” and “mate”? Just dudes or now everyone?

This year I had meal help. 16 yr old made a mashed potato bake, 20 yr old made a mixed berry pie, & my wife made a chocolate sheet cake. Unfortunately the latter was covered in foil & placed on the bay window ledge only to be annexed as one of the cats decided to sit on the crinkly foil.

Considering options for volumetric LED cube. Am trying to straighten pebble lights in these tubes. There is a back channel signal wire currently superglued & I pulled this through with a thread. Thoughts on support to glue lights to & straighten? Grateful for technique & material ideas.
