Tech stocks, crypto, creator culture etc has moved a lot of people up the log graph. The monetary scales are denominated in millions or higher. Money at the scale that’s meaningful to me is de minimis… the amounts you might blow on a trifling splurge.

Money-wise, my life is governed on a scale that tops out at the hundreds of thousands while spending or getting tens or hundreds or thousands of dollars is meaningful to me.
