3h in. Its entertaining enough but there is nothing that really gripping me and pulling me with it, you know? Like, it's fine but nothing really exciting.
I'm making a second attempt at The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. A few months back i made it a bit over an hour in, 10%, and then just let the loan ran out because I wasnt feeling it.

my husband--who had both kids, alone, for over a week--also wallpapered my office and built me new bookshelves while i was gone. bc it's my birthday tomorrow. they're calling him the best to ever do it

I read in all mediums depending on needs but the most satisfying are these really floppy paperbacks that stay open without me having to crack the spine 🥰 I think all books should be like that.
I also avoid hard covers because of the weight idk. I prefer paperback.
