Party made it further into the Crypt of Talhund, but fled from the Hydra into a dead end. After defeating the Clay Golem defender, a Pass Without Trace helped them sneak past the Hydra again and meet up with Rivibiddel. Phandelver & Below continues to be a fun challenge for the crew!

Update on new #TTRPG campaign:
They went with the Moonshaes Isles option, which I called Eclipse of the Earthmother.
Now I'm mapping out possible arcs, locations & NPCs. I know @baldmangames.bsky.social did excellent #Moonshaes AL work. Recommendations?

Another successful #DnD One-Shot at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. Three new players took the D&D and #TTRPG plunge and had a good time with Gnome for the Holidays. Always fun introducing the hobby to new players!

Tonight was the finale of Shadows of Atlantis for #AchtungCthulhu by @modiphius.bsky.social for the second of two #TTRPG campaigns I was running of it. Big finish saw our heroes win the day and stop the Nazis as Atlantis crumbled around them.
A very fun campaign. Hope to revisit 2d20 soon!

A move to Zoom due to illness didn't stop my Friday Phandelver & Below #TTRPG from having a great time getting their butts kicked & their brains vacuumed by an Intellect Snare. Their anguish as it healed from 35 to 75 HP over 2 turns Siphoning Thoughts was delicious.
They survived...barely.

Pacifistic Dance Bard is sad they're killing nursery-guarding Wyrmheart Kobolds. Paladin decides to pocket an egg to give to him. Sleight of Hand!

The online Cthulhu by Gaslight campaign I was in has been put on indefinite hold. Was really enjoying it & looking forward to seeing what fresh horrors awaited us. Alas, life does have an unfortunate habit of interfering in our #TTRPG adventures.

Sadness.

An interesting development for this Warhammer fan, as one of my home-game players expressed an interest in learning more about Warhammer, both minis and RPGs. As a long-time fan of WFRP who has tried to get newer groups to play it or one of the other Cubicle 7 RPGs, I'm crossing my fingers. #TTRPG

An interesting development for this Warhammer fan, as one of my home-game players expressed an interest in learning more about Warhammer, both minis and RPGs. As a long-time fan of WFRP who has tried to get newer groups to play it or one of the other Cubicle 7 RPGs, I'm crossing my fingers. #TTRPG
Teddy “Numbers” Malone, shady Wild West accountant and self-preservation expert, survived his final #TTRPG session and retired a very wealthy man in the finale of our multi-part Boot Hill campaign that spread, with lengthy breaks, more than a decade. It was quite the run!

It’s been a rough 10 days for this #ProDM as I’ve had an unusual-for-me 5 cancellations in those 10 days (stupid Canadian Thanksgiving weekend). Thankfully, I had a fun #TTRPG double header of #DnD today and a couple of other games on Thursday and Friday to get back on the horse.

New #TTRPG started today for the long-running former Grendleroot group. They chose Rime of the Frostmaiden for their next campaign and Session Zero and a couple of opening scenes kicked things off. They also welcomed the first of two players to the group. Excited to try a book I haven't run! #ProDM

My “Phandelver Phriday” #TTRPG group all got t-shirts today commemorating the Tabaxi Barbarian’s fateful statement of “It’s just a Goblin” before getting curbstomped by the Psionic ones in Phandelver & Below. Always cool when a moment bonds a group and a catchphrase is born! Thanks!

This Sunday, I begin a new campaign for the holdovers of my Grendleroot campaign and a new recruit. All I need to do is actually pick what I want to do so I can focus on that and not the seven other #TTRPG campaigns that “would be so cool to run!” The struggles of a #ProDM with no attention span!

After more than 2.5 yrs, The Wifflebats have reached the end of the Ruins of the Grendleroot #TTRPG campaign began in January 2023.
The final battle with Karak Blackiron on the Black Star planet will be decided and Blackclaw Mountain hopefully saved. Thanks to the crew for a fun campaign!
