Safer? From what? Nourishment? Medication & care to heal the sick? Shelter? Most Americans can't feed their families, receive health-care, or pay rent. We are NOT safer.

Stripping them of their ill-gotten advantages would help fund the reforms we desperately need. Convicting them of fascism would set a clear precedent that this ideology will not be tolerated at any level. Sentencing them to the full extent of the law would remove their influence from society.

Although I agree with dismantling the systems that allowed fascism to flourish, I don't believe we should excuse those who empowered Drumpf. Children can be re-educated. Adults, with formed frontal lobes, will simply go through the motions, contradict the teachings, and continue stewing in fascism.
