'Road tax' is not ring fenced for roads maintenance.
Charging per mile for electric vehicles is a tax grab.
EVs are already subject to more car tax, with a surcharge, than combustion cars.
EVs aren't only about emissions but owning one can't be more expensive than a combustion car.

Refugees aren’t the architects of our inept asylum system that leads to huge taxi bills—they just rely on it. Instead of asking why the system is such a complete shambles, the media fixate on the myth of refugees “gaming the system” while everyone else lives w/ the legacy of austerity.
