Is there anything you'd be willing to share that's on your card? What kinds of things work?

I have some very loyal students, who have been with me for years. One graduated high school last year who joined me in 7th grade. Another who is a junior now joined at age 8.

But half my students have been with me a year or less. How long should I expect them to stay?

I read The Moon is a Harsh Mistress during the W Bush administration, so it felt very apropos at the time.

My take: Heinlein wrote some fun scifi. I'm sad that so many people aren't reading him because, across many books, he had several contradictory political philosophies which are problematic.

I brought my 12 year old with me. I had been told that it has some mature themes, including mental illness, mourning, and sexuality, but my big guy is very mature and really seemed to understand what he was watching. He had a good time. He also wasn't the youngest kid there.

The magic system is also very annoying when playing multiplayer. I'll be in the middle of charging for an attack, then a menu pops up over the other player and while Undine throws some ice around my attack goes off at half the level I intended.
