This tracks. What I really want to see as part of this is for the UI to react to device gyros, detected light and even eye tracking, making the whole thing feel like it’s a real 3D part of the world. If windows on my Mac could be positioned in 3D on the Vision Pro, that would be gold.

Use tape or paint to color-code the ones that are good for data or for high power applications (e.g. 100W). Most thinner cables are only good for charging, though.

(This is still a better situation than cables you can’t plug in at all.)

It’s not time, it’s patience. Social media has trained your brain to swipe to the next thing now now now and fill every gap in your day. But each social media video is like a single French fry: not good for you, consumed in packs, regretted later. Turn them off, slow down.

OK, this is weird and silly, but it works. The Movies folder, in List view, can show Dimensions, Codecs, Duration and Title for videos. For any other folder, you have to rename it to "Movies", then enable these columns in List view, then you can rename the folder whatever you want.

QuickTime Player, ⌘I to Get Info. There are some sneaky tricks to show resolution in the Finder though.
