Für demokratische Länder ist der ganze informationskomplex darum herum, nicht nur Palantir, ein no go für sensible Daten.

Was den Europäern fehlt ist Besonnenheit.

That's very likely, but I don’t read Trump documents as traditional diplomatic or bureaucratic documents. In his second term, he’s sidelined or purged career bureaucrats and installed ideologues at all levels; this should be read as an ideological manifesto, like Project 2025.

The same applies in the US. In the USA, the states are not sovereign states like in Europe.

The US could reintroduce and improve the Antitrust Act, meaning that Elon would have to return to fulfilling his obligations, like any other citizen in the US.

The EU is more than an economic bloc; it is a union of sovereign states. In fact, Europe today somewhat resembles the last free Gallic settlement in Armorica, the village of Asterix and Obelix during Roman times.

Elon has so little political knowledge that he doesn't know the difference between a federal state like the USA and a union of states like the EU. In the EU, each member state retains its sovereignty. Whether that still makes sense given the current threats is another question.
