The fake Michael Bertrand

A very strange man who writes things. VFS alum (Writing for TV and Film program), thinker, philosopher, comedy writer, academically gifted, socially retarded, lover of long lists of adjectives, and the only rationalist materialist mystic poet in the world.
Before you try to have it all, ask yourself how much of it you really need, and how much of it is just a list of things you've been told to want by society but fundamentally don't give two cups of rat shit about?

I have a history of drinking those too fast.

I have no self-control when it comes to tasty cocktails.

I'm a girl drink drunk. :P

And people put sugar on that? Yikes.

At least use maple syrup!

I have completely given up on trying to figure out what British people mean when they say "pudding".

It's like "punter" or "jumper".

It can mean so many things!

She's the sort of person who when you ask them about their Christian *beliefs*, they instead list their Christian *credentials*.

You know, I was a choir boy, went to this school, attended Mass three times a week, studied to be a nun, etc.

Yeah, but what's your fave Jesus quote, and why?

Me too! I will always love Kitty Pryde to pieces. She's there in a warm spot in my heart, even when she's being a brat.

And I mean, Lockheed loves her, and he's never wrong. :P

Good for you! I have the same problems, though in my case, all that anxiety disappears once I am on stage.

Fighting anxiety is so hard. You have a haywire alarm system telling you that you are in terrible danger when the only real danger is the alarm system itself.

So go for it! Get that help!

Narcissistic personality disorder almost always stems from a reaction to an *extreme* threat to a child's self-esteem. As in someone, usually a bad parent, essentially trying to annihilate the child as a person. As a result, the child learns to shut out all input contrary to their idealized self.

Because LIBERALISM WORKS.

OK, that makes sense. Thank you!

I guess I assumed they all do both!

Because these people are children and therefore can't see why they shouldn't just take all this money they "have" and use it on themselves instead of boring campaign stuff.

This is exactly why I hate being in the hospital. The tests and such don't bother me. Nurses looking after me don't bother me The food at my local hospital is actually quite good.

But being stuck in bed is torture. Doesn't matter if i have my phone and books and crossword puzzles.

It's so ARGH.

More precisely, there are exceptions because no rule is perfect. Ergo, adjustments made on the fly are needed in order to keep results in line with the *intent* of the rule.

However this can quite easily slip into mere corruption.

I would SO be in the quiet car. It sounds like heaven.

The trick would be in not ending up so wound up over someone failing to be quiet that I end up being part of the problem. :P

We'd need the Cone of SIlence from Get Smart. :P

A lot of people lack the metacognitive strength to be able to account for their own subjectivity and thus insist that the way their perceive things is the absolute immutable truth.

These people are not worth engaging with.
