STOP DOING MATERIAL ART - MODELS WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN TEXTURES - YEARS OF PROCEDURAL GENERATION yet NO REAL-WORLD USE FOUND for anything other than MS PAINT - Wanted to see realistic textures anyway for a laugh? hi i'm a material artist and i've been experimenting with substance designer's new Kuwahara and color quantisation nodes to stylise old materials! here's a cobblestone material i originally made for minecraft:
