There should have been a Christmas episode of the Kirby anime where Santa just looks and sounds like Kawasaki but in Santa attire, so everyone suspects it's just Kawasaki pulling everyone's non-existent leg before they eventually meet in the same shot.

Another tribute of sorts to Normalsville, however this one is as faithful as possible, down to the art style, palette, and text hinting. Panel 1: Xavery and Austyn are talking to each other. Xavery: Oh hey babe! Wanna go out tonight? Autstyn: No thanks! Zack's makin' mac 'n' cheese. Xavery: Wait, Zack can cook, I didn't-- A shout can be heard coming from off panel: "DAMNIT ZACK!" Panel 2: A shot of Puz and Zack bickering by a stovetop. Puz looks angry and Zack is crossing his arms and rolling his eyes. Puz: You're supposed to turn the stovetop off when you add the cheese, butter, and milk! It's all burnt now! Zack: Don't blame me, I've only ever made the microwave version. Puz: AND MICROWAVE MAC AND CHEESE IS A DISGRACE TO THE SENSES!! Panel 3: A beat panel of an annoyed Xavery and concerned Austyn watching this petty argument unfold. Morag once found an underwater projector in a sunken ship she was looting, ever since then she's been collecting films to watch with Fiona. They'd normally go to a theater but Morag cant be out of water that long and undersea theaters can be awkward if Fionas scuba tank isnt full.

Today, MeTV decided they should take advantage of the things MeTV Toons has access that they didn't before to by airing one of the Christmas specials in the latter channel's library.
The Story of Santa Claus - a Christmas special from Nelvana and Film Roman that Weigel Broadcasting (the parent company of MeTV and MeTV Toons) got the broadcast rights to from Paramount (due to it being part of the CBS catalogue). Here is the title card for the special as seen on regular MeTV - complete with the TV-G rating icon, the "A Very Merry MeTV" screenbug transition, and a 14:9 crop applied to the cartoon. Santa Claus at his toyshop with a very goofy clown sporting white makeup and a black jester hat. This screencap from MeTV airing the special confirms I got it recorded from the channel's Mid-Missouri station.
