Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Trump Tower in Chicago was found guilty of illegally polluting the Chicago River just last year
The Trump administration is moving to fire or force out more than 20% of the Environmental Protection Agency's Chicago staff, including officials who enforce clean air and water laws and others dedicated to helping poor communities disproportionately harmed by pollution in the Midwest.

I don’t know what the right thing to do is. Is it better to look at these jackwads in the face and say “Jesus Christ you are such a jackwad” or is it better to say “ivermectin probably won’t be a good cancer therapy for x y and z reasons but it’s good that researchers are still looking into it”?

“Roughly 27% of the state’s firefighters were incarcerated in 2018 and 2019, earning mere dollars a day while free firefighters make an average $41.76 an hour.”
These teenagers and young men — 95% of whom are Black, Latinx, or Filipino — earn between $2.20 and $4 per hour, plus an additional $1 an hour when they’re actively fighting fires, according to the DJJ. ⤵️

I really think Americans underestimate how much they benefit from living in a global hegemony where America is on top.

Now that America can no longer be trusted as a stable democracy and ally, it's only a matter of time before our allies actively work to reduce America's soft power.

An interesting difference between X/Twitter and @bsky.app is there is significantly less virtue signaling through the use of emojis in profiles.

It makes me much more likely to interact with different types of posts. I don't feel like an outsider and everyone is already in an established clique.

I think about how the 2020 pandemic was utterly wasted.

We had the opportunity for so much change. Many in the US had their first experience with free healthcare through the vaccine. People were sent money directly from the government. Rules around employee safety and sick time were implemented.
