I'm an engineer, but I don't work as one. I might excuse myself by that I feel our existance does not seem real when we flippantly follow paths that are highlighted for our carreers and so. In the end we risk loosing ourselfs in overbelief in our systems.

True that the American MAGA movement is into all those antagonist and/or narrow-minded qualities of a cult. This is also true about, for example, some Islamic movements, though. Sadly, the whole world seems rather full of such movements, which may pertain to religion, politics or something else...
MAGA is a cult. Following are the reasons why.
1- Unquestioning loyalty to Donald Trump.
2- Rejection of facts and evidence.
3- Isolation from outside sources of information by favoring echo chambers.
4- The Us-vs-Them mentality.
5- Demonization of dissent.

Trots att jag tycker hon för med sig friska vindar av förnyelse inom liberalerna, så ör satsningen på borglig regering lite trångsynt uteslutande mot Centern jämfört med SD. De sistnämnda är kanske sedda som för stora för att kritisera.

Som annan trångsynthet så är även etnocentricitetsbaserad sådan oftast bakåtsträvande. Fast att komma ifrån trångsynthet kan nig ofta resultera i omvänd trångsynthet. Så till slut bejakas ofta (reaktionärt) den ursprungliga trångsyntheten för att det annars riskerade bli radikalistisk trångsynthet.

That 50% tariff is a tax that will mainly hit the poor and the middle class. That will help justify the huge tax cut for the billionaires. Golden age? Gilded age would be more accurate. The rich are getting richer and everyone else is slowly being bled dry.

I hope Poland can and will be able to use their position of chairmanship in the Baltic-state council, as they have claimed they want to: Make it safe. Perhaps that means mostly from a military perspective. But there can, I think, also be hope for a safety for even the,fish and so that live there.

Interesting. Well, it is weird if it ends this way. But in a sense, the new policies of the 'reactionaries' (or would-be reactionaries) seem to pave the way for enough lost trust from US allies and so, for it to be losing much of its grip on the world.
