There's a severe geomagnetic storm happening at the moment, if you're lucky, you might see an aurora tonight! And if we're really lucky, we'll get a solar flare large enough to destroy our entire digital civilisation.

Cool. Nice to know that the heir of the Estee Lauder company (who owns MAC and bobbi brown and many more brands) is one of the key voices behind the scenes that encouraged the absolute insanity we've been seeing with Greenland and Ukraine. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

An underrated part of The Art of Manga exhibit is when they had to try and explain each part of jjba in a short sentence while retaining a museum's register

I felt like making some art last night/today and could have made something beautiful and/or meaningful but I made this instead.

It's a Barbie Yaga Malibu Dream Hut.

No regrets. Can't defeat fascism without joy.

Corpos create shortage and cut off personal compute
They try to sell you cloud compute
They leverage the scarcity that THEY CREATED
To say, “look how expensive hardware is, that’s why cloud now costs more”
This is a revenue stream, because LLMs are a technological dead end.

If I hear more mfers come out and say, "Oh you're just a doomer, corpos aren't trying to kill personal compute power,"
I'm going to end up on the news.

When I turn on my work laptop, Windows 11 decides that my wifi is unavailable, there is no internet. But there is internet. The wifi is fine. I have manually go into the network menu and select it for it to realise there is in fact a strong wifi signal. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I just went through a box that I was assured was, "just random cables," things I found in the box:
The base of a retired cordless landline phone
2 packs of black garlic ramen best before aug 2023
half a toblerone
a funsize mars bar
1pk of picked mango slices best before Jan 2025
And yes, cables.
