Welp, started my weekend with this. I have taken apart my TSOP flashed 1.0 OG Xbox to check what is actually wrong with the power button. Seems like this board is suffering from Trace rot.

Also thought of installing a pin-header for a modchip.

Just being better safe than sorry.

The front side of a OG Xbox Motherboard Revision 1.0 taken out of the consoles and laid out on a solder mat. You can identify this with the additional fan on top of the GPU Heatsink and the power connector for the Power Supply (1 row connector instead of 2 rows). To the left side of the Motherboard there is an IDE Cable hanging around. On top of the mainboard is a yellow cable that gives power to the Disc Drive. The back side of a OG Xbox Motherboard Revision 1.0. It shows various chips and resistors. The actual issue with this board is that it suffers from something called trace rot.
