I'd love some feedback on my colourblind mode. I'm not really sure what colours to pick, or maybe I need more than one mode. Or maybe I should just let uses deactivate certain colours. Maybe the grass needs to change colour too 🤔

A quick #blender geometry nodes setup to get particles similar to the ones I made in #unity for Rallyallyally store.steampowered.com/app/1830540/...

I take it a bit for granted now but love having the power geometry nodes gives us.

oldschool foliage vertex painting in #blender. This was such a pain to do, everything had to be done in the correct order then use script to finish it off, tweaking iteration was very slow.

If I were doing it again now it would be so much simpler in geometry nodes.

Throwback to my first #Blender plugin, an anim scrubber like Maya. I developed it into some crazy system for activating motion lines, moving and mirroring keyframes while in the the scrubbing mode, although I've never convinced anyone else to give it a try 😅

Demonstration of the movement system from (the unfortunately cancelled) Before, I set it up in #Blender to measure the distance travelled for each locomotion animation then adjusted the framerate so each animation was at the same speed. Then in #Unity....

Just managed to dig up a screenshot of an even older asset, hand made, as the quality I expected to be able to get out of the geo nodes system. This was before substance but I used a lot for the same ideas with masks/gradients/ao/edges to texture in in photoshop.

Thanks! It was a prototype for some turn based table top game I thought I could make with @ptrefall.bsky.social but we both got too busy 😕 got a couple more posts of it queued up

Annoyingly I didn't take a better video of it when I was working on it, but heres a bonus shot of it with booleans.
