#Venezuela: Alfredo Díaz has completed 1 year of arbitrary detention due to his political profile. He was subjected to forced disappearance for 4 days from the time he was detained. He remains unjustly confined in El Helicoide.

#Venezuela: Rosa Chirinos and Raymar Pérez remain unjustly detained in Las Crisálidas prison. They are two Venezuelan women who were arrested on 22.09.2024 for traveling in the company of a foreign person, also detained.

The dam, one of the largest in the world, was built in the 1970s and 1980s as a joint project by the Paraguayan and Brazilian governments. Without consultation or consent, they went ahead and built the dam, dispossessed the inhabitants and flooded parts of the territory.
