I found the audiobook more accessible than print, and it reminds me of Lord of the Rings in the sense that you have to wade through a lot of language, but it is worth the labor if you don't get fed up.

So much of my friend group relies on Meta apps to sustain any social contact, and I've hated feeling trapped by this apathy for ages. If this is the year I lose this friend group by metaphorically walking out of the room, I think I'm at peace with that.
