I think I might have to activate the FH chip earlier than I want as it looks like Rogers will rise and Semenyo will drop tonight. I'm a little tight on funds if I go ahead with Salah and Haaland and that 0.2m makes a difference.

This would have been a failure IMO, just 45pts and only out scoring by normal team by 3pts.
I don't think I'm using the FH this week, but if I was the strategy would be to go full against Haaland and attack the most favourable fixtures head on. Think it would look something like this for me...

A frustrating week with a couple of mistakes (not doing Semenyo to Enzo and the Rodon / Anderson bench order) and a bit of misfortune lead to a red arrow. Looking ahead a good, but not definite, chance I use the FH this week.

It took 30 odd years but I finally ticked Radiohead off the top of my bands I want to see list. Not sure who takes over top spot now!

First little play with a potential FH13
Munoz was the one, and I'm getting a bit frustrated with the Mateta and Sarr combo. Lively but not getting the FPL points - I'm now thinking the better set-up with them is two defenders.
Think I will do Gabriel to VVD tonight:
- Can't get Munoz as I have 3 CRY
- Already have Raya and not sure 2 ARS defence needed for the next few weeks, especially without Gabriel
- MCI/CHE defenders get rotated and poor for DEFCON
- LIV better with Alisson back (splits are quite stark with/without)

The Haaland non-captainers got a bit lucky today; he still had 0.98 xG, 3 big chances and Man City should have had a penalty too, could have been a hat-trick on another day...

This is the sort of game Man City could have done with a KdB to bring off the bench for the last 20 mins. All looks a little rushed and sloppy.

That Thiago missed penalty must be something like my 5th or 6th of the season, huge swings every time. If Thiago scores, it's 6 points for a goal vs a miss and probably another 3 points for bonus.

Based on the reaction of those watching the game on Soccer Saturday, it sounds like Crystal Palace should have had a pen for a foul on Sarr, but only given as a FK on the edge of the box. No one else out there right now is finding so many ways to dodge points as Sarr.

It's not a huge difference, but maybe enough to put me off going with double Arsenal DEF over the next few weeks (TOT/che/BRE/avl). If not Timber / Saliba as my Gabriel replacement, then who? I have 3 CRY, so can't do Munoz - can I bring myself to trust LIV (VVD) or CHE (if I FH13)?
The numbers suggest that Arsenal have been slightly worse without Gabriel over the past few seasons
But... it's a small sample size, and Mosquera & Hincapié are capable backups. So far, markets have made only very minor adjustments to Arsenal's CS odds for the Tottenham game 👇

Thankful that the price action has been relatively muted this IB, really need some info from the press conferences tomorrow. Undecided with my plans at this stage, could do anything from rolling to 3 FT's, to a hit, or even a FH / WC. Semenyo will be the most crucial bit of info.

I was about to sit down and have my first IB break FPL playaround, only to see that the Cloudflare issue had taken down much of the FPL-related environment.
