the watanare anime was one of my favorite things i first watched this year (gosh i wonder if i'm gonna post something on tumblr in a few weeks that indicates that), but i started reading the source material (light novels) and OMGOSH they blow the anime out of the water.

Oscillating with smoke producing rapidity between: not wanting WOTC to keep making mega profits so that they'll change creative course & wanting Lorwyn Eclipsed to blow Final Fantasy out of the water in sales so that I don't have to face a future of losing via commander damage from Peter Griffin.

God I hate how anti-intellectual out times are. I’d rather be sitting here reading interesting books, or learning about astronomy stuff, or making a movie about weird shit - but I gotta spend energy constantly explaining my existence to a world that empathizes more with Nazis then marginalized ppl.
