I agree. It'll be interesting to see how Zohran Mamdani fares as New York's Mayor. I'm hoping he's got political sincerity (so far so good.) In the UK, I rather like Andy Burnham though he's tainted by the Iraq War vote from his time in the Blair govt. He's been very effective as Manchester's Mayor.

Indeed. He's very much into what will benefit him and screw anyone else! Think this current govt's centrist direction has definitely proved how incompetent and lacking in vision they are!

No surprises there! Wes Streeting's a very glib and smooth talker but of very little substance as a politician. Much wrapping but has very little content except for a burning ambition to become PM (Gawd help us if he ever does!)

Agreed. Like Priti Patel, Suella Braverman, etc. she "forgets" her own roots and feels the need to be more harsh and reactionary in her approach to immigration. This govt certainly ain't Labour. Kinda a navy blue shade of Tory.
