Good article! It’s naive, indeed, to deny centuries of religious evolution and ignore the things that faith, whether real or appropriated, makes people do. The novella I’ve queried to one publisher is steeped in these things. And the homework was easy because of the environment in which I grew up.

Portmanteau? That’s a composite name for two people or things jammed together—i. e. Bennifer or Frankenchrist. I think the accurate term here is “anthology film”.
