I have a large, firm swelling on my lower leg that my then-dermatologist said is lipodermatosclerosis. So I went to my then-PCP for treatment. He glanced down at it and said "I don't know anything about that" and changed the subject!

I found a new PCP after that who isn't afraid of research. 🤦‍♀️

Someone I know identified as a lesbian in college, but later realized she was actually bisexual. She was very fearful that word of her being bi would get out and alienate her close lesbian friends, who reject anyone who isn't a "pure" lesbian (my word, idk what their term is). Also very prejudiced.
