the thing that pisses me off about all of this the most is like. nintendo could actually sell the switch 2 overseas for $350 USD and sell significantly more units, and at the end of the day make a much larger amount of money through both software and hardware sales

It's funny to see EarthBound fans surprised that Giygas was always intended to be pronounced "Gee-Gus". I've had many commenters make fun of me for saying it this way! Lindblom first revealed this back in 2013. That being said, I understand those who still pronounce it "Guy-gas" (it sounds cooler 😆)
