Yeah. The sun is tough on them! I actually hydrated them before this run too - baited water, which is like tasty meat soup so they slurped it up. Even though it was 32 degrees, the sun makes them hot, so we slow down and take breaks!

Don't worry, we refilled the bowls several times over! I give them as much water as they want during our stops

I fully believe names have power! I am always really superstitious about names so I try and give dogs neutral names. I've met too many dogs whose names were self fulfilling prophecies 🤣

Wow, that's pretty serious. Did you see the Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby is having a double amputee guest musher? I feel like something like that could happen if you talked to the right people

The dogs were FULL of beans on their run today with the cold weather 🤣 i had planned to get a picture from the front when I stopped for a snow chomp break, but the dogs, uh....were threatening to take the ATV without me
