copy.transform.combine ,, copy the trails that deer or other animals create , transform trails by making them bigger and smaller , putting wood or other material on them , noticing how it changes , combine with masonry , invent roads..

I really think understanding why when how not just emergence but open ended multi scale emergence is a far more useful and important question to solve than ai specifically .. truly it is more mysterious..

i am trying to remember which had bluetooth network connectivity , was it ssb ? it's true that local sync is a sorely lacking feature in a lot of new p2p protocols , a lot left on the cutting room floor in general and always useful to look backwards in this context :)

super curious , why revist ssb ? which parts of it are important that were lost and which parts do you think maybe need updating or let go of ? and have you checked out keet /hypercore / holepunch development lately ?

ironically i feel like this paper is giving a good physical basis for the emergence of intelligence rather than disproving that slime molds can be intelligent , slime molds also exhibit memory and figuring out all the ways least action could be the basis for that emergence is interesting at least :)

Making the p2p system painless to setup would help , one of my dreams about p2p is to finally take off my sysadmin hat! There are definitely a few that satisfy that but the tech is still beta
