Whatever happens to the UK government in light of Mandelson scandal, at least we have some shreds of due process and challenge left. A Prince has gone and we may yet lose a PM but at least we’ll still have a scrap of dignity, unlike the USA.

Foul & abhorrent as Trump’s statements were, let’s not pretend that same callous, dismissive, ignorant views aren’t being echoed by the rest of his sycophantic, enabling, grovelling government. The US is not just no longer an ally, their alignment with Russian views is pushing them to enemy status.
