I feel like the war arcs of Naruto didn't quite manage that. Yes, a lot of characters got conclusions, but there was a massive worldbuilding dump to lead to some of those conclusions that left a lot of "branches" growing.

I understand this approach.
When I do Boruto manga critiques, I often exude the anime because I want to focus on the primary content rather than a team of writers. But I think it's disingenuous to say that Boruto is wholly written by another author when Kishimoto has always been deeply involved.
