The issue is the feds right now aren’t going to do much.

It doesn’t help there’s no push from the state either. I’m assuming that’s why - they probably have no teeth to enforce anything

Actually you can catch a bus to North Liberty if you’re going to the Coralville mall

Not to mention there’s 3 systems:
Cambus (provides service at the University of Iowa campus)
Iowa City Transit (just Iowa city buses)
Coralville Transit (Just buses for Coralville, a town nearby)

Yeah it’s not great. They also stop running weirdly early.

The 4, that runs between downtown and a bunch of student housing stops running at 6, completely cutting off the bar crowd.

Iowa City/Coralville needs a full rework.

Probably and with the provisions that SSL and Metra trains have to drop that non-compete clause on the ME main, a Metra designed schedule would probably be very useful on that stretch.
